Once upon a time, there were five Native American Indian nations: the Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Chicasaw, and Seminole. These nations lived peacefully east of the Mississippi River until white settlers migrated into their lands and gold was discovered. It was because of deceit, gold, greed, and pressure from white settlers who decided that the Indians were standing in the way of progress and had to be removed so, to eliminate this problem, the white settlers pressured the government and the government complied.

The Cherokees were forced to leave their lands and because of this forced removal -- what's known as The Trail of Tears begins.
